This is a custom center chimney cape we built in 2000. Just a couple of hundred feet from the shores of Nantucket Sound. All of the interior woodwork including the fireplace panels, raised panel wainscoting, and stairway posts were designed and built in our shop.

This is a reproduction 'Half Cape' built in 1998. To stay somewhat true to the original details, we built and installed wooden downspouts on the corners and we ordered the windows from the manufacturer without exterior casings. We took the windows into the shop before installation, and milled and installed our own over sized casings and sills to add a detail common to older windows that would have been made by our ancestors. The interior has wide pine floors, exposed ceiling timbers, and a custom, but simple, pine mantle for the tumbled brick, center chimney fireplace.

This is a Saltbox that we designed and built in 2004. It has a total of about 3500 sf of living space. It includes a third floor walk-up and a step down family room on the first floor where there is an open floor plan. Engineered beams and floor joists were used to create a wide open interior span of 46 ft. front to rear.

Here is a custom Colonial we designed built in 2007. Within it's 3600 sf of living space it has 4 bedrooms, a step down family room with a gas log fireplace, 24 x 26 recreation room over the 3 car garage, first floor laundry and 2 1/2 baths.

This is one of the more unusual homes we've built. It was custom designed and built for a customer in 2003. A wide open floor plan with 19 ft. from floor to ceiling. A flat roof was built behind the parapet walls that you see on the front and sides. The roof was framed with 26 ft. long engineered rafters, 12 inches on center, to create the open floor plan. The cantilever at the front corner made for an interesting entry, which then steps up to the main living floor.

This is a custom home we designed and built in 2005. It has approximately 3300 sf of living space, with an in-law apartment, and a bonus room over the garage. We used larger sized columns on the wrap around Farmer's Porch to balance with the 3 car garage on the left.

This is a Saltbox style colonial that we designed and built in 2006. Four bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. It sits in a neighborhood with several antiques, so we tried to come up with a design that would fit in with the surrounding homes. Inside the upstairs there's a balcony that looks out the eyebrow dormer, and tongue and groove yellow pine floors throughout. The raised panel walls and fireplace mantle were fabricated in our shop to create the 32 ft.long wall.

Here is a center chimney cape built in 2008. It has a kitchen el off of the rear and a master bedroom el off of the left side. Inside are wide pine floors, hand nailed with square-cut nails, traditional woodwork trim and raise panel mantle work, custom made in our shop, for around the fireplace.

This is the replica of a home we built as a fundraiser for the 'Plymouth Coalition for the Homeless' in 2001. We hauled it on the trailer to different events including the Plymouth 4th of July parade, Edaville Railroad, and the Home Show in Boston. The actual house sits in Halifax, MA. The runner-up to the raffle won this replica. I think it either became a dog house or child's playhouse. I like to think it was the playhouse.

This is a reproduction center chimney cape built in 1988. The chimney was built with salvaged brick that was over 100 years old. Over sized exterior casings were applied on the windows and doors, and wood downspouts were built to simulate a true antique. The mahogany deck and Farmer's Porch were added in 1997. The interior has wide pine floors, exposed ceiling beams, back to back fireplaces with raised panel woodwork surrounding both, raised panel wainscoting, and a custom built kitchen.
